Raise your hand if you have the hardest time ever finding a phone case you a) like and b) actually protects your phone. (Lifeproof cases suddenly become Deathproof cases around me. I can destroy a phone faster than you can say “Nokia.” #throwback)
I mean, how cool is a phone case with your own artwork on it?! Snow better way to do it.
Well I am super duper excited to say that partnered with the folks at CaseApp and got to design my own custom iPhone case! Bonus: it is WAY more durable than I expected and I’m pretty darn impressed with the printing and color quality too. The artist in me really appreciates good color matching.
Now if you’re not familiar with CaseApp, it’s this easy-to-use website that lets you create affordable custom iPhone cases and laptop skins using your own designs or you can choose from their premade options. (I am totally feeling this marble one, y’all.)
They also have a ton of clip art and text overlays that you can easily add and move around like you’re a Photoshop wizard.
Anywho, I’ve been painting up a storm lately, and I thought it would neat to cover my phone case with my own watercolor art. Since I’m a mountain-winter lover living in Florida, I figured a painting of my Great Smoky Mountains in the midst of a blizzard would make me a little bit happier every time I picked up my cellular. Maybe I’ll even start answering phone calls now.
I also kind of want to keep making more phone cases for myself (I mean, wedding photos, hello!), but I also think these make a great gift option if you want something personal and unique!
